About FRED
FRED Returns to Charter School Facilities
In 2018, the Charter School Facility Center was launched with the help of US Department of Education dissemination grant. As part of that grant, we issued a newsletter from FRED (Financing and Real Estate Development). Now that the grant is over, people have asked what happened to FRED. Instead of leaving a vacuum in facility policy and funding arena, FRED is back.
Our goal is to:
-
1. Share unbiased information on funding opportunities for schools.
-
2. Support state and federal policy regarding facility funding and financing.
-
3. Advance other systemic and scalable charter school facility related solutions.
Let us know if you have any other ideas for FRED. Enjoy.
